Dr Puja Patel qualified from University of Bristol in 2012, she has since worked in hospital in the London Deanery where she gained invaluable skills in oral surgery and oral medicine assessment clinics. Following this post, she gained a range of dental experience having joined mixed NHS/private general dental practices over the years. Puja joined Birchwood Dental Practice in September 2017 and currently enjoys being practice principal alongside Dr Jay since 2019.
Puja aims to achieve good oral health with her patients with thorough attention to preventative advise as well as providing a range of dental treatments. She has great enthusiasm for treating anxious patients especially and finds it very rewarding making patients feel comfortable in the dental chair. Puja has completed a certificate in Advanced Operative Aesthetic & Restorative Dentistry which allows her to provide both functional and cosmetic dentistry with the most current techniques. She is also a provider of Invisalign Go and enjoys seeing her patients smiling with confidence following their teeth straightening treatment. During her spare time, she enjoys yoga and reading.
